Nature’s PharmacyВ  – About Us

Meeting the Needs of our Patients through
Compounding and Home Healthcare Supplies

What is a “compounding” pharmacyand how can it help meet the needs of patients?

In every medical practice there are a few patients who do not respond to traditional treatments, or who have a unique need.  Working with your physician, we can create custom-tailored medications, individualized according to the physician’s order.

Compounding can fill a need in overcoming these obstacles.  Concentrations can be changed.  We can change a formulation to change a flavor.  Side effects such as gastrointestinal distress can be eliminated by putting the medication in a gel.

Manufacturers often discontinue products due to decreased utilization.  However, there are often patients for whom this drug provided relief.  Using pharmaceutical-grade chemicals and specialized equipment, we can compound a medication containing the same drug as the discontinued product, perhaps in a different flavor.

Important Facts About Vision Therapy For Your Child Who Suffers From Lazy Or Crossed Eyes – Depressed? Adopt a Cat

If you are concerned about the use of glasses for your young child or they have already been using them and you are not happy with the results, it is important to consider the benefits of vision therapy. It is easy to forget that your child’s ability to see depends not only on the ability of each part of the eye to work properly, but is similarly impacted by the strength of the eye muscles. Since vision therapy is essential a type of physical therapy that benefits the eye and the brain, it can have a significant impact on your child’s vision. When reducing eye strain and use or improving the functionality of the eye muscles is recommended, it is best to consider vision therapy

Crossed Eyes And Double Vision

It is first important to note that if your child’s eyes do not have similar function and strength, ” may appear. Crossed eyes can manifest as eyes that turn in, up or down after first causing double vision. Some individuals who have crossed eyes, which is also known as strabismus, will go on to develop a lazy eye.

One non-invasive treatment includes exercises that are geared towards improving the muscular strength of both eyes. One ” your eye specialist may recommend is for your child to focus closely with both eyes, for as long as he or she can comfortably, on a single item close to their face. You will then be asked to move that small item to and away from their face, stopping when their vision becomes blurry, repeating as tolerated.

A Lazy Eye

A ” happens when the brain does not recognize equal input from both eyes that are otherwise healthy and functional. It is not always clear why a lazy eye, which is also known as amblyopia, occurs but it typically starts in childhood. However, its presence means that learning and participating in the normal childhood experiences can quickly become more challenging. The lack of ” is one of its more common symptoms and another is that the eyes do not always work together or follow the same visual path.

One treatment option to discuss with your child’s vision specialist involves the daily use of ” to minimize the use and strain of one of the eyes. Early detection and treatment of a lazy eye is generally associated with better long-term results and unfortunately, there are many ” and adults who received late treatment and never fully recovered.

In conclusion, before you risk your child’s eye strain or discomfort as the result of not correcting your child’s vision or forcing him or her to wear glasses from a young age, it is best to talk with a specialist like ” about your little one’s options for vision therapy. Vision exercises at home, without the benefit of medical supervision, are rarely an appropriate choice and are unlikely to give you the results your child deserves.

Alcohol and Drug Abuse: Receive Help Here.

experience has been that families, as well as the individual with the
chemical dependence problem, have a problem with priorities. This means
that the family can mistakenly reward the disease instead of recovery
and prevent the teen from learning.

The process of addiction leads the family members to feel in a certain
way and to react to the addict in a certain way also. Many families attempt
to reward the addict for normal behavior when that is the last thing they
should do. The teen must learn that the world does not work that way.
Many addicts develop a way of thinking that demands that the world “pay
him his due.” “The world owes me a living,” is a common
thought process. It is for this reason that I’ve entitled this essay “Don’t
buy that car.” You may be doing it out of fear and/or guilt. </span>

The Apple Watch has arrived.  While it does the expected, works as a phone, receives texts and emails, and can store and play music, it also has the potential to improve your health and fitness. The Apple Watch can help you keep on top of your overall health.  It can remind you when you have appointments with health care professionals or when to take medications.  It’s also capable of displaying medication instructions, pill images, and prescribed dosages. It can also keep track of blood glucose levels. Perhaps the most impressive app is one that allows you to video chat with a physician for a per-minute fee with the simple press of a button. For those who like to workout the Apple Watch has available apps to help you reach your fitness goals. The watch works at least as a pedometer, with various apps that can track distance, time, and calories burned.  It also lets you set your fitness goals for the day and alerts you when you’ve achieved them. There is an installed heart rate monitor but it can be inaccurate.  Also because there is no GPS, runners and cyclists must bring their phones with them to track distance. It should also be noted that when using the installed heart rate monitor the watch’s battery life is limited to six hours compared to eighteen when using only the watch’s basic functions.  The Apple Watch has great potential and, with time, there should be more high quality, health related apps to choose

ABCs of Health and Wellness

Adding a useful resources can be a quick and easy way of building content

By A. Writer

A quick and easy way of adding content to a site is to create a resources list.

This can be anything from a simple list of appropriate web sites or it can be a full blown directory that includes mini-reviews of each of the sites listed.

You could also include reviews of products or services related to the niche in question.

It’s important to remember that it is not essential to build the ultimate resource right from the start. It is far better to start off with just a handful and from time to time add a few more to the list. This is a task you can put in your diary so that you are reminded to visit the site once a month and add a set number of new resources. If you just add three new resources each month that will be thirty six resources a year. Google likes sites that are updated regularly and resource pages can be a very easy way to do this.

  • Adding a list of useful web sites and be a quick and easy way of generating a content rich page that will be useful to visitors, but that should also rank well in the search engines if the sites are appropriate and the descriptions you enter for the sites make use of your chosen keywords and phrases.

  • If the site you are creating relates to a certain product category, e.g. children’s toys, why not include a list of appropriate products. This could be a single page or it could be a collection of sub-pages with a main index page.

  • If your site relates to an industry that has various service providers why not create a page or several pages relating to the key players within the market place.

  • You might want to include a page listing several of the key players within the market place. Not all niches will allow this, but if your niche does then it can help you to generate more content quickly and easily.
